O documentário conta com trinta entrevistas com sobreviventes anarquistas da Revolução Espanhola, cujo testemunho mostra o "labor constructivo" da revolução social e os antecedentes do movimento libertário espanhol.

Este "labor constructivo" significou, segundo o documentário, a organização de coletividades agrícolas de aproximadamente 7 milhões de campesinos, 3.000 fábricas e empresas nas cidades, a união de 150.000 milicianos anarquistas contra o fascismo, bem como as atividades culturais e o movimento "Mujeres Libres" em que o sexo feminino lutava contra o patriarcado.

Sinopsis:

The documentary features thirty interviews with anarchist survivors of the Spanish Revolution, whose accounts highlight the ‘constructive work’ of the social revolution and the background to the Spanish libertarian movement.

This ‘constructive work’ meant, according to the documentary, the organisation of agricultural collectives comprising approximately 7 million peasants, 3,000 factories and businesses in the cities, the uniting of 150,000 anarchist militiamen against fascism, as well as cultural activities and the ‘Mujeres Libres’ movement, in which women fought against patriarchy.
